Ben Barton
Co-Founder
Ben is co-founder of Digital Dry Dock and a RINA member with over ten years at sea - skippering sail and motor yachts up to 30 metres, serving as Chief Mate on large motor yachts, and navigating some of the world's most remote passages. He holds a Certificate of Naval Architecture from Lloyd's Maritime Academy and has extensive refit experience. Digital Dry Dock was built on a simple idea: time in dry dock costs too much, and better data can change that.
Ollie Graffy
Co-Founder
Ollie is co-founder, Managing Director and Lead Surveyor of Digital Dry Dock. A qualified Naval Architect and RINA member, he holds a BEng in Marine Technology from the University of Plymouth, where his final year project won the RINA-BAE Systems Student Naval Architect Award. He spent three years in 3D surveying before founding Digital Dry Dock in 2020 - combining naval architecture, surveying and a lifelong passion for sailing into one company.

Qualified Naval Architects
Formally qualified in naval architecture, providing the technical authority to sign off stability analyses, hull assessments and class submissions - something only a small number of survey companies in the UK can offer.
Working at Height
Certified for working at height in marine environments, allowing us to deploy survey equipment on scaffolding, masts, rigs and superstructures safely and compliantly.
Confined Space Entry
Trained and certificated for confined space entry, enabling us to conduct tank scanning, void space surveys and internal structural inspections that other survey companies cannot safely access.
Worldwide Deployment
We travel globally to survey vessels and marine assets wherever they are - on charter, in dry dock, or at remote facilities. Fast mobilisation and minimal disruption to vessel schedules.
MCA & Class Experience
Extensive experience preparing documentation for MCA, Lloyd's Register and other class societies. We understand what flag states and surveyors require and we present data accordingly.
